Terms & Conditions

The terms for using Tattletate

Review the rules governing Tattletate accounts, anonymous submissions, user content, acceptable use, and service availability.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Tattletate, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement in your location.

Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or maintain the service.

Anonymous messages and user content

You retain responsibility for text, recordings, profile information, and other material you submit. You grant Tattletate a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transform, reproduce, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. Do not assume anonymity permits unlawful or harmful behavior. Recipients are responsible for considering privacy, consent, and context before republishing a private submission.

Prohibited conduct

  • Threats, harassment, hate, exploitation, stalking, or encouragement of harm.
  • Impersonation, fraud, deception, phishing, or unauthorized collection of information.
  • Publishing private, intimate, confidential, or identifying information without permission.
  • Infringing intellectual property or other legal rights.
  • Malware, automated abuse, security probing, excessive traffic, or attempts to bypass safeguards.
  • Using the service for unlawful activity or to violate another person’s rights.

Service operation

Tattletate may change, add, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage. Keep independent copies of content you need to preserve. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and availability.

Enforcement and termination

We may remove content, disable public links, block accounts, preserve relevant records, or cooperate with valid legal requests when reasonably necessary. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through the Contact Us page.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that cannot reasonably be made for an evolving online service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tattletate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Contact us through the Contact Us page with questions about these terms.
